The Lion is a fantastic pub, very friendly and welcoming owners. Serves basket meals Fridays and Saturdays and the best roast dinners on a Sunday! They do veggie options, just ask at the bar and they will let you know what's available
Lovely pub with a very friendly welcome and good beers.
Had meal with 4 friends for my birthday last night. The food and staff were amazing. We were last ones in and not once told us we had to leave. Highly recommended and hope to go again soon
We love this little gem of a pub. Always a warm welcome. 10 of us have just had our Christmas lunch their just fabulous food and plenty of it. Merry Christmas

I come here to have a drink and chat. Always a friendly atmosphere. The landlord and his daughter are both welcoming. Reasonably priced drinks. Very cosy in the colder months with the open fire.
Fantastic food. A good plateful which is also fresh. Staff friendly and helpful.

Visited here on a sunday, looking for a place which doesnt just do sunday roasts like a lot of places. I ordered a starter and a main, service was courteous and prompt. Food came out very quickly. I opted for a special that day that was recommended, braised beef in red wine sauce. It was rich and tasty. Highly recommend visiting.
Was boxing day Darts Doms pool table tennis day had a really nice time there with a lovely assorted crowd of friendly people
